Third Rock's staff consists of engineers, ecologists, geologists, planners, GIS analysts, and construction managers.  Turnover is low and long-term working relationships contribute to the quality of our work and efficiency with which it is delivered.

As a woman-owned, small business, Third Rock has sought and obtained certification as a Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) and /or Woman Business Enterprise (WBE) by multiple federal, state, and local agencies.

Third Rock Consultants, LLC was established in 2000 by Molly Foree Cummins, a licensed environmental attorney.  Since its inception, we've grown to include a diverse staff of some of the region's most respected environmental professionals, serving clients across the Southeastern United States.  Since it's inception, Third Rock was designed to be different. Traits like integrity, authenticity, creativity and common sense are encouraged and flourish.  Third Rock is home to women and men with diverse specialties and backgrounds, but a uniquely similar work ethic, priorities, and approach to life.  It is our common goals and interests, and not our disciplines, that define who we are as professionals and our collaborative as a consulting company.

At Third Rock we take our role as client advocate very seriously, investing regularly in continuing education and professional development.  We also provide regulatory updates and continuing education for our clients.
