Third Rock Consultants
Different by Design

Third Rock's staff of environmental professionals provide a full slate of consulting services ranging from macroinvertebrate identification and endangered species surveys, to restoration design, permitting, and construction.

Third Rock's staff consists of engineers, ecologists, geologists, planners, GIS analysts, and construction managers. Turnover is low, and long-term working relationships contribute to the quality and efficiency of our work.

As a woman-owned, small business, Third Rock has obtained certifications as a Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) and a Woman Business Enterprise (WBE) by multiple federal, state, and local agencies.

At Third Rock we take our role as a client advocate very seriously. We invest regularly in continuing education and professional development for our employees.  We also provide regulatory updates and continuing education for our clients.

Third Rock Consultants, LLC was established in 2000 by Molly Foree Cummins, a licensed environmental attorney. Since our inception, we've grown to include a diverse staff of some of the region's most respected environmental professionals, serving clients across the Southeastern United States. Third Rock was designed to be different.

At Third Rock Consultants, traits like integrity, authenticity, creativity and common sense are encouraged and flourish. Third Rock is home to women and men with diverse specialties and backgrounds, but a uniquely similar work ethic, priorities, and approach to life. It are our common goals and interests, and not our disciplines, that define who we are as professionals and consultants.
