Since our inception in 2000, Third Rock’s specific emphasis and mainstay has been NEPA documentation, and our staff includes socioeconomic, air, noise, ecology, hazardous materials specialists well-versed in NEPA regulations. Throughout the evolution of environmental studies we have evolved our approach to NEPA documentation to accommodate and integrate Context Sensitive Solution (SS) concepts. We offer holistic integrative planning services as well, including watershed assessment services where our ecologists and engineers are able to pinpoint pollution sources to target remediation efforts. When a project has unavoidable impacts, we are also able to assist our clients with environmental permitting and mitigation services (including US Army Corps of Engineers and Kentucky Division of Water permitting/certification requirements), hazardous material Corrective Action Plans (CAP) and more.
